hi everyone.. .a very quick note, as i've just come out of a sweet potato coma...

hope all of you are having a great holiday... and are excited about the new year. this year as always i'm grateful to have traveled all around to sing music i love. i wound up in a lot of places that were new to me, walked around with new people, in new cities , at new venues, getting to know the vibe...even if only for 15 hours (ie milwaukee). and even in the weirdest of situations it has felt like a joy to get up on that stage & sing.

plus i was able to play & record with some of my favorite musicians on the planet.. the great guys in the band killing it musically as always. their spirit is definitely a huge reason why i love to do what i do.

i'm excited to see what 2011 is going to bring and also for you to hear some of the new material we've been recording. more on that very soon.

thanks for your support and see you around in early jan. i'll be starting singing in NYC and then heading to New Orleans for the Jazz Education Network conference... and hopefully i'll end up somewhere near you very soon...
